Main Focus

I am interested in policies, methods and standards in movement ecology, especially those designed for animal-borne sensor data. I hope to develop and use these tools with the aim of (1) using assemblages of animal tracking data to discover statistically robust and biologically meaningful patterns in animal behaviors and distributions, (2) improving data archiving and communications workflows to facilitate such analyses, (3) contributing to community-developed standards that allow integration of animal-borne sensor data across platforms and with other sources of biodiversity and remote sensing information.
