Migration and Immuno-ecology
Director: Prof. Dr. Martin Wikelski
Every year billions of animals migrate across the globe. They provide important ecosystem services, but can also transport diseases.
We are interested to find out why and how individual animals decide to go on this treacherous journey.
By doing so, we aim at increasing our general biological knowledge, educating the public about the wonders of migration,
and conserving migration as a global phenomenon.
