Topical meeting of the Ethologische Gesellschaft e. V., Tutzing 6-8 Feb. 2014

During the meeting, which was attended by about 120 people, the Ethologische Gesellschaft e. V. awarded for the first time the Eberhard-Gwinner-Award for the best student talk and the best student poster.


Tanja Kleinhappel won the Eberhard-Gwinner-Award for the best student talk ("The influence of habitat variation on the social network structure of fish").

Lisa Gill won the Eberhard-Gwinner-Award for the best student poster ("Vocalisation patterns, hormones and breeding stages in small groups of captive zebra finches, Taeniopygia guttata").

 

In addition, all conference participants voted for the best poster. Adriana Dorado-Correa won this audience prize for her poster on "Impact of light and noise pollution on the singing behaviour of a tropical bird".
