The Max Planck Institute for Ornithology in Seewiesen (near Starnberg), an internationally renowned research institute, situated at two different locations with more than 200 employees, researching in the area of Behavioral Neurobiology, Behavioral Ecology, Evolutionary Genetics and Migration and Immuno-ecology is looking for a bilingual Secretary for our Consultant of the Managing Director in part time (50 %, 19,5 hours per week), initially with two-year appointment, as early as possible.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced person, who enjoys office management (correspondence, travel organization, etc.) and creative work with Adobe Programs and Microsoft Office. Candidates should have strong skills in written and spoken English, preferred a trained bilingual secretary or equivalent education. Being an English native speaker is of advantage.
We offer an interesting position in a well cooperating and committed team. The working hours are flexible. Salary will be based on previous experience according to the German public salary guidelines (TVöD guidelines up to grade E8).
